1. Who provides the membership
Cannect is operated by Higher Ground Co Pty Ltd. These terms explain clinic membership, founding pricing, billing, cancellation, refunds and payment failures. For assistance or cancellation, email admin@cannect.online.
Membership is a clinic-listing and platform service, not medical care, a clinical endorsement or a guarantee of patient enquiries, reviews, treatment outcomes or revenue.
2. Founding eligibility and ongoing price
Clinics that join before Cannect's public launch may select founding membership at A$3,559.80 per year including GST. The public launch date is currently TBC; the founding offer closes on that date.
Founding membership starts when payment is made, including before public launch. It automatically renews annually at the same A$3,559.80 founding price until cancelled. This price continues beyond the first year; it is not a first-year-only discount.
The A$296.65/month equivalent is a comparison, not monthly instalments: A$3,559.80 is payable annually. At 10% GST, that annual total includes A$323.62 GST (A$3,236.18 excluding GST). Standard monthly and annual memberships use the price and billing interval displayed at checkout.
3. Onboarding and what verification means
Payment starts membership but does not by itself confer verified status. The clinic supplies its own profile information, confirms it is accurate and current, and accepts responsibility for keeping it current. Cannect publishes that information as supplied by the clinic and reviews it through its onboarding process before activating verified profile features.
Cannect verification concerns the clinic joining Cannect, agreeing to the applicable Terms, supplying and confirming its information, agreeing to keep it current, and Cannect completing its onboarding checks. Cannect does not verify medical advice, treatment outcomes, quality of care, medication suitability or clinical recommendations. Verification is not regulatory accreditation.
4. Voluntary cancellation
You may request cancellation by emailing admin@cannect.online before your next renewal. Cancellation stops the next renewal; your membership and clinic listing continue until the end of the paid period. Cannect will confirm the scheduled end date. This applies to founding, standard annual and monthly memberships.
Ordinary voluntary cancellation does not refund the unused portion of the paid period, subject to the non-excludable rights in section 6.
If a founding clinic voluntarily cancels and later rejoins, its founding price is not retained. The standard price available when it rejoins applies. The separate protection for payment failure below does not apply to voluntary cancellation.
5. Failed payments and the 30-day resolution period
If a renewal payment fails, Cannect records the payment as overdue. The clinic has 30 calendar days from the unpaid renewal due date to resolve the payment issue. If it remains unresolved after that period, the clinic listing will be removed from the Cannect app.
A payment failure does not forfeit founding pricing. A founding clinic retains its founding price and can return at that price once the payment issue is resolved, including after listing removal. Cannect will confirm payment and the applicable membership dates before restoring the listing. A payment failure is treated separately from a voluntary cancellation.
6. Onboarding refunds and your statutory rights
Cannect will work with a clinic to resolve onboarding issues. If onboarding ultimately cannot be completed, Cannect will issue a full refund of the membership payment and stop future renewals for that unsuccessful onboarding.
Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any consumer guarantee or other right or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded under Australian law. The ordinary cancellation policy and launch-delay benefit do not limit those rights.
7. Public launch timing and the extra month
The public launch date is currently TBC. Membership begins on payment, not on public launch. No launch-delay credit is triggered while no public launch date has been announced.
If Cannect publicly announces a launch date and public launch is delayed beyond that date, founding clinics that paid before the announced launch date receive one additional month of membership at no extra charge, once only. Any delay beyond that announced date qualifies; the benefit is not one month for each month of delay.
Cannect will apply the benefit by postponing the eligible clinic's next annual renewal date by one calendar month and will confirm the revised date. The next annual renewal remains at the founding price. The benefit does not limit the non-excludable rights in section 6.
8. Included future clinic features
Future included clinic features and optional clinic services will not carry an additional membership charge. Planned features include clinic connections in Patient Wallet and StrainsAU, the strain directory. StrainsAU and the strain directory are the same product.
These integrations are planned; this description does not mean they are already available or promise a release date.
9. Terms and profile-submission records
These terms are version 2026-09-29-v1, published on 29 September 2026. A clinic's accuracy declaration when submitting profile information is separate from acceptance of membership Terms. Cannect records Terms acceptance only when supported by an actual acceptance record; publication of this page does not establish acceptance by an existing clinic.
Profile onboarding and update submissions are emailed to Cannect for manual review and entry into the clinic's CRM record. Submitting an update does not automatically change the published profile or the Stripe subscription.
